Logitech Conferencing Solution for Clearcast

Clearcast have over 50 years’ experience in their field. They are best known for clearing adverts before they are broadcast on TV to ensure that there is no misleading or offensive content and that they comply with the advertising codes. Alongside the core service, Clearcast also, run a successful training programme, manage international copy advice, offer a fast track service and much more.

The aim of this project was to design, supply and install two bespoke Logitech conferencing solutions throughout the Joinery Room and Boardroom at the Clearcast London office, as well as installing a system on the third floor meeting room to provide local screen sharing.

Both the Boardroom and Joinery Room had existing audio visual systems, designed to provide a high degree of flexibility to support daily advert viewings, monthly training sessions and conferences. To ensure these investments were maintained and enhanced, we created a detailed design with focus on the clients’ current workflow and end-users goals and ambitions for the spaces.

The Logitech Rally conferencing kit has been installed in both the Joinery Room and Boardroom. The kit is complimented by four strategically placed, 360-degree ceiling mounted microphones within the Joinery Room, alongside this, the Logitech touchscreen has been installed to provide a fixed central positioning for the ease of control and management of the audio visual conferencing system.

To support the requirements of the Boardroom, IVC have installed the Rally kit, including the Tap interface, for control and screen sharing as well as two tabletop microphones and a PTZ camera, soundbar and PC.

For the smaller, Huddle Room, a 55inch display has been installed suspended from a ceiling mounted pole, for the perfect viewing position. The HDMI input for this display has been extended across to the easily accessible tabletop position to allow a quick and simple plug and play connectivity for screen sharing.

The solutions have now given Clearcast a powerful set of collaboration tools, that have increased productivity by allowing users to connect their device, share content and connect to remote participants using their preferred web conferencing service – Teams.
